Who they are

Scar is a younger brother who was never going to inherit anything and decided the solution was murder and a lie told to a child. What makes him one of animation's best is the contrast between the theatrical villain song and the quiet, bored contempt of his ordinary dialogue. He is also a case study in a villain who is excellent at seizing power and catastrophically bad at holding it.

Irons strained his voice during the final act of the villain song, and another performer completed the last lines.
