A thousand years old and still terrified of dying
A hundred years of grudge, posed dramatically
Editorial estimates on a 0–100 scale, calibrated against every other character in the index. Not official canon.
Dio is an adopted son who poisons his way through a Victorian family, becomes a vampire, and then haunts the bloodline of his enemy for a century. He is theatrical to the point of absurdity and genuinely frightening underneath it, and his ability to stop time is one of the most recognizable powers in all of manga. He also functions as the spine holding a wildly experimental series together.
He can stop time, which means the fight is already over before you notice it started.
Sunlight, and a stubborn family line that keeps producing people willing to punch him.
Theatrical to the point of absurdity and completely committed to it. His declarations are among the most repeated lines in anime.
Vampiric immortality and the ability to stop time entirely. On a purely tactical level almost nobody on this list can survive that combination.
A century-long grudge delivered with runway poses and the most quoted line in anime fandom. Absurd and genuinely menacing at once.
