Violence with a rulebook nobody else can read
An assassin who treats murder as a fashion choice
Editorial estimates on a 0–100 scale, calibrated against every other character in the index. Not official canon.
Villanelle is a contract killer with a genuine sense of humor, an unpredictable accent, and a wardrobe budget that is arguably the show's second lead. She is a psychopath in the clinical sense and the series never pretends otherwise, but it also lets her be delighted by ice cream and hurt by rejection, which is far more destabilizing than pure menace would be.
She is a professional, she is bored, and boredom is when she gets creative.
She wants to be seen by one specific person, and it makes her reckless every single time.
An assassin written as a full character rather than a threat, with a performance that shifts accent, register and mood inside a single scene.
Delighted by ice cream, hurt by rejection, and a contract killer. The tonal range in a single scene is remarkable.
